The new museum of Science and Industry, Thinktank, is located in the heart of Birmingham and incorporates ten themed galleries spread over four floors. Several exhibition designers were engaged due to it’s extensive content and Edwin Dyson’s were successful in being awarded two major contracts.

Firstly, the fit-out, designed by RFA Designers, of the City Stories gallery, being the history and origins of Birmingham including an avenue of stainless steel display units and the interactive Bandstand in the Children’s themed Kids in the City Zone.

Secondly, the Non Exhibition fit-out contract designed by Land Design which included the reception areas, retail shop and cafe furnishings, directional information units and constructional partitioning.
