Following a £41 million refurbishment, restoration and upgrading programme, Frank Matcham’s restored masterpiece re-opened to mark the centenary of its opening in 1904.

Dyson’s were awarded two works packages, Historical Joinery and Back of House Fit-Out totalling £1.2 million. Highlights of the scope of works included the manufacture of 83 dressing tables and 70 wardrobes constructed from a plywood substrate and finished in polished beech veneer; the renovation of over 100 ornate period doors and the panelling out in solid oak of the Dutch Bar, Dress Circle Bar and Stoll Room.
