Brighton has a unique background, from the excesses of the Regency period, the lavish Royal Pavilion, to a day out for many Londoners and altercations between mods and rockers. The seven new galleries reflect it’s history from both the local communities and visitors prospective, but also expand the themes to include international content of costumes, puppets and grooming, shaping of the human body to place Brighton’s history into an overall context.
Dyson’s content included curved display walls, partitioning with built in showcases, display plinths, raised walkways and a reproduction of Brighton beach.
